Description
The De Bortoli wine making mantra is: “it’s harder to do nothing”. The intensity and complexity of the flavors striking, as is the length. The finer mouthfeel of Upper Yarra fruit is obvious. 95/100 – James Halliday Halliday Wine Competition 21 August, 2020.

– Reviews –
A youthful, savoury style for serious pinot fans. Cherry, wild raspberry, baked earth, dried meat, spice & autumn leaf aromas are followed by a concentrated and robust palate finishing with a spicy edge and good length.

Vibrant cherry, forest floor, olive tapenade aromas. A powerful Pinot with good structure, vibrant fruit with great length. 89/100
The Pinot Noir Tasting May 2020
This wine is made by De Bortoli from their extraordinary Lusatia Park Vineyard located at Woori Yallock in the Upper Reaches of the Yarra Valley. From the 2018 Vintage comes a bright Pinot with a subtle perfumed nose of strawberry, cranberry, vanilla bean and stalky spice. Elegant with strawberry and cranberry fruit depth, it shows savory stalk and herb notes, well-judged vanillin oak and a long, silken mouth-feel.’’

Juicy and dark fruited, with lovely blueberry fruit and good richness. The oak is nicely integrated, with good weight on the palate. 90/100
